We had a pleasant stay for ten nights.
We truly enjoyed the room, it was amazingly spacious with 3 single beds and a fan, as example. The location in a residential neighborhood was great and lovely for us.

Very very good experience and friendly efficient and very responsive staff. Quiet and best possible position in stunning area. Also - so close to major tourist sites as well as tram which is pretty fast.
Not very friendly staff!

Beautiful gardens and park setting enhanced my experience.
I faced issues with cleaning schedules that began very early, waking me up at 8 am on one occasion. The firmness of the bed made restful sleep elusive, frustrating after long days of sightseeing. The lack of a kettle in the room meant I couldn't enjoy a hot drink without going to the restaurant.

We liked the setting, a part of a Benedictine Monastery.

The hotel is located outside of the city center, but you can get to the old town square with a short 15 minute tram ride. The hotel is located in a beautiful complex where there is a gorgeous church, a fantastic restaurant, and it is still home to 40 monks. It is a peaceful, quiet place. Our room had its bathroom split up so there was a toilet and sink in one little room and a shower and sink in another. My husband and I loved that we could get ready in the morning easily and we each had our own bathroom. There is a tram stop directly across the street and you can take tram #22 to get to the castle - it is 3 stops away - or ride it all the way to the old town center. The breakfast was Euro style - and it was adequate and comparable to other hotels we have stayed at. Eat at the restaurant! The food was amazing! It is one of the best meals I have eaten in Europe. You can park your car inside the compound and they lock the gate to the parking area at night.
The beds and pillows were a little more firm than I prefer - but again, it is a euro style that I am getting more used to. I was concerned by other reports that the church's bells go off every hour at night, but I was surprised to hear how quiet they were. I am an extremely light sleeper and I wasn't disturbed by them in the least - and we slept with the window open. The hotel didn't sell tram tickets at the front desk and there isn't a ticket machine at the tram stop. The first day you will have to walk 5 minutes past the tram stop to the next tram stop and buy your tickets at a wine shop. I recommend buying two tickets at a time - one to go to the city and one to get back (unless you are buying a day pass). There are hardly any ticket machines at tram stops and you have to hunt down stores that sell tickets since none of them advertise that they sell them. Once you get on the tram, validate your ticket in the little yellow boxes. The fine for riding without a validated ticket is 700 Kr/person.

Adalbert Ecohotel was exactly what I wanted for our family of 5:quiet, away from the city but still close, restaurant on site(good food!), basic amentities, and generally a space to escape after traveling many days. It's not the hilton but a nice change and spacious.thankskarrie

Large rooms, peaceful environment, good breakfast
Far away from the centre, wall to wall carpet make a room a bit fusty

The beautiful gardens crafted a tranquil environment, while the on-site restaurant offered delicious local cuisine. A highlight was exploring the nearby church and palace, which added to the unique Prague experience.

Unique place and friendly staff.
Breakfast was basic and the distance to the city center rather far (around 25 minutes) - but adequate for the price.

Great value for strolling in Prague with easy tram access. Enjoyed the excellent grounds and beautiful gardens . Make sure to visit the on-site pub for an excellent artisan beer.

The surroundings - centuries old monastery. Located next to a tram stop.
Being a monastery - there were bells at all hours. The beds were very firm. As an "eco" hotel, there was no air conditioning.

Hotel is situated directly in the monastery area, thus it has a unique atmosphere. Consider that even at night the church clock is beating.
